Hi,
Was just wondering if there is a new version of Amiga OS on it's way. If so, what "system" will it be available on, since there seems to be only 3.9 support on the Pegasus systems lately. Thanks.

there is soon to be released the 4.0 for ppc and then there will be and big update called 4.1. after that there will be alot of other updates until we see aos5.0 and a new area in amiga will be done and we move over to x86 platform. but no one know when it will be done... we only know that aos4.0 will be done for xmas :)

Os 4.1??, even 4.0 isn't finished yet......

It is doubtful that the Pegasos will ever see AmigaOS 4 due to the severe competition between the MorphOS team and the AmigaOS team. For a future OS4-compatible system see the TroikaNG website (http://troikang.com).

Well considering Amiga Inc. has said all future OS development
(beyond OS4) well be done in house, I seriously doubt well see
anything beyond Hyperion's effort. Do keep in mind that Hyperion
still has exculsive rights to develop OS4, so it quite possible
we will continue to see it evolve even after its full release.

x86? When has that been announced?

aos5 going to x86 was the original roadplan, well when i say x86 i seem to remeber the idea of aos5 was to be hardware independent.....wether or not this is still the plan i don't know, and TBH i wouldnt hold your breath
