Title: MP3 audio cut to size
Post by: amiga4001 on October 03, 2005, 07:01:02 AM
So I got me a huge mp3 file(64 MB) and there are different songs in there.
So I want to cut them into size/song so I can place the songs on my mp3 player.
I converted the mp3 file to AIFF(465MB) with secondspin no problem.
So I thought I could use audioevolution to cut it but it refuses to load this file (error in load sample).
Downloaded samplemanager and this one loaded the AIFF file allright(a piece that is as it uses only mem for loading).
Cut it and saved it as .cdda/aiff/wav but al the saved formats refuse to play in other player.
Even when I try to load in in samplemanager it refuses to load in only when markes as RAW data it loads.

Any tips?

I have hard time believing it, since 465 MB mp3 surely can't fit 2GB AIFF file.

Ooops there was a mistake in writing yes.
Edited it now.
Problem still here.
One solution would be to play the .AIFF or mp3 file and record it with my mp3 player with it's audio in.
But the soundquality of this ain't to great.
Is there an other program for cutting .AIFF and write them away as .mp3
