Title: VideoToaster Software Disks
Post by: sdesros on March 25, 2003, 07:42:35 PM
Anybody know how many disks there are for each version of VideoToaster Software?  (Say between 1 and 3)?

I've got a VideoToaster 2000 sitting here, and various sets of disks.

One set of disks (about 40 or so) which have some dead ones in the bunch.

Another set of disks (I think it's 2.1 or maybe 3.1) only seems to have 2 disks in it.  Is it possible?  Or could it just be an upgrade disk?  Or disks for the switcher only (no lightwave)?

I'd splurge on an update CDROM, but I don't know if the VideoToaster itself works and I'm not sure if I want to keep it (since I do have an Impact Vision 24 and it does pretty much everything I want anyway.)

Thanks...

Oh, does someone also know if it's possible to get replacement disks for ones that I'm either missing/damaged?

Hi :-)

The 40 disks set is the original one, all other are for upgrades only so it is normal.

You can ask Newtek for replacement disks as they still support all product they made so far.
