hi,
just wanted to ask if anyone of you is planning on selling an amiga500 plus monitor? if not, do you know if this computer is up for sale a lot on ebay?
i wonder if there will be some u.s.-sellers, too?! i checked at ebay today and all i could find was 2 offers from a guy from the u.k
also, what do you think is a possible price range for an a500 (with all th enecessary equipment) and monitor?
thanks,
toddy

I don't have one for sale at the moment, but they are available on eBay often from U.S. sellers. For complete systems with software and monitors the price range can be anywhere between $30 to $200 or more if it has a hard drive or accellerator included.

hi amigadave,
cool name. thanks for your comment. i'll keep my eyes peeled on ebay. is the "accelerator" you mentioned important fot playing games and stuff?

No an accelerator for the A500 makes it faster for real work and not for most games. Some games will benefit but I would not get one for just that. But most games will NOT work with a CPU card! Also a CPU card will be very expensive for the A500, like $75 to $200 depending on what kind and if it has RAM, SCSI, etc. I recommend a A500 with KS 1.3, 1MB RAM and a external Floppy drive. Get a Commodore monitor too if you can to maximize the experience! See some of my pics on my gallery. Good luck

I have an Amiga 500, and monitor, I can sell or give away the A500, just not the monitor. Im actually wishing I could trade the A500 for something else, I doubt you have what Im looking for though, Im looking for a used ADAT audio recorder. Or something similar.

sorry, i don't have an adat. sounds great though!
how much would you be willing to sell your amiga for?
thanks,
