Look at this one
http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5245276596&fromMakeTrack=true
as you know the original oscillator from P5 was only a squared one or there were even some Cyberstorm MKII with rectangular oscillator?
The One I own has a squared one. :-?

@ Reflex
Mine is a Phase 5 MKII and it came with a rectangular oscillator, with tamper-evident strips across it.
-
Mine is/was rectangular also. (Although, my tamper seal is long missing). IIRC the lines are there for a square oscillator also.
-
ok maybe my CS MKII had a sqared one because it was not soldered :-P
-
Ah, you mean yours was second-hand and the previous guy changed it?
-
no I had to change it because the original one became faulty. I saw that there was 2 more holes to put a rectangular one but I thought that P5 only used sqared one as default. As on my board there was a sqared oscillator I put another identical one because I was doubtful about the function of those 2 extra holes.
Ah, I'm not the seller of the board of this thread!

The CyberStorm MKII board I have, has the same sized oscillator as the one on the picture. The oscillator has 6 pins on it, and all connected to the PCB, but I'm hoping I can just replace it with a oscillator like those normally seen on Phase5 boards.
-
oscillators, has ALL 4 pins (both rectangular as squared).
Its the PCB that have 6 holes, so it can accept both shape :-)

Ah, just looked at my board again, and you are right. I had to remove the Phase5 warranty sticker, as it was covering the middle of the oscillator, and underneath it looked like pins were soldered in the middle as well. I now realise that the socket is already there, so now I just need a voltage regulator and a 68060 CPU in order to convert this board to a 060 board as well :-)
