Two questions regarding Compuqick...
1> Is their website accurate? How likely is it they have what they show in stock?
2> Can they be trusted? Anyone get ripped off? Anyone had good experiences?

Anyone? Anyone at all?

I have dealt with them, but it's been a few years and much can change. All I can say is that they USED to be OK to deal with.

The seriously have a problem in updating their site. If you want it - they probably don't have it. But props to them for sticking around.

Probably not. They tend to update once a month on newer items, but I don't know if they're accruate on the older stuff.

NEVER been ripped off by them. Have ordered several times and always had good service. When I bought a used, towered 4000 off the user-groups, they did some excellent service work for me, repairing what UPS destroyed. AmigaOne suport has been good, too.

I cant answer question #1.
All I can say for question #2 is, it has been
awhile and hopefully they do business differently
now. People can and do change. I'd say more but
my email and mailing list mail is already hard
enough to figure out. >:)

No, their website does not reflect actual stocked items. They no longer carry many of them. I usually call or e-mail them to find out if they have something. I always
get good service from them, and have ordered many times.
More recently I've been ordering from AmigaKit simply because their website is more accurate for the items in stock and I can just place my order online. AmigaKit has given me good service too. The only bad thing is that shipping is more expensive and takes longer overseas.
I continue to order from Software Hut, Compuquick, and AmigaKit as my primary sources. - Lars
