Title: PCMCIA right angle connector
Post by: crispy on September 12, 2005, 06:50:35 PM
Hi there,

I know this probably has been covered in a previous post, but does anyone know where I can obtain a PCMCIA right angle connector for a reasonable price?

Turning the motherboard round the opposite way would prove difficult - its a power computing power tower... :(

I've seen ones online for £29.99, but I do think that is quite expensive for all it is.

Cheers

They are that expensive, even when you try to find something at PC suppliers it won't be cheaper than at Amiga-dealers. I was hunting for a cheap solution but I was unable to find one.   I even thought about soldering something myself, but getting loose parts and assembling that myself wasn't economically viable.

You could try cannibalising a dead PCMCIA card or something and the port of a dead laptop. Or accept defeat and buy one ;-).
