Hi,
I'm having problems recording anything with my Concierto.. Just using the ConciertoRecorder. I tried plugging in the PC desktop microphone, but that doesn't work.. No signal in.. But it makes a noise as i plug the microphone into the "IN" on the Concierto..
Any ideas?

I know nothing of the software, but is there a Gain control? Sounds like its low, or set to LINE not MIC or something like that. If i remember correctly, LINE level is much higher than MIC level.
Thats if you can even adjust it

I had that problem as well. The Concertio microphone input is mono (2 metal segments), and I was using a microphone with a stereo connector (3 metal segments). Give that a check. - Lars

Well.. I'm using a standard PC sterio Desktop microphone.. The ones that come with your PC, or that you can buy for £5 or something (looks like a stick). Could that be it.. It says in the manual that even if using a stereo mic the Concierto will pick up mono.. Hmmm.. Did it work when you started using a mono plug?
The recorder has the ability to record stereo.. Will it just double the mono signal?

YES, I solved the problem by using a microphone with a mono connector, instead of the stereo. Do you think I'm just a mean troll here posting for pleasure? :o - Lars

Err.. No..:inquisitive: I'll try to get hold of a Mono plug..
Thanks for the help!!

Thanks logicalheart. The recorder is recieving signal now!
But i have a new problem: If i try to listen to what i've recorded. My system freezes. And i have to reboot. It freezes as soon as i hit play. No error message.. Nothing..
Any ideas?
