Really doubt that u can find that kind of spare part but you can always try to homebrew that parts, or go to a new/used one. Not very helpfull but god luck!

I had a dead 1200 drive when I was building my tower a few weeks ago, binned it though, what timing :-(

I have a dead A3000 floppy drive (internal) and another external FD unit (dead too). I am not sure whether the A3000 FD will do for you but as far as the mechanics goes, it should  be ok with your A1200 FD.

If interested, just drop me a line.

The drives are all compatible with all amiga models (maybe except the AT 1200) BUT the A3000 has a very different eject button! These are very rare, I even paid 30 euro for a bunch of floppy drives just because one of them had a button like that!

That's what I suspected, but was not sure if the poster was effectively referring to just the eject button or something else connected to it.

Regards.

yeah i was.
literally just the plastic eject button, and that strange clippy thing

its just because every time i use df0: i have to keep the top of the amiga

i dont like doing this, esp as its on the floor (in bits) atm in front of my tvi wanted to be able to put it somewhere, all nice and neat and packaged

Hi

I do have a spare plastic eject button for the Chinon drive...when you mention the strange clip thing,do you mean the angled metal bracket which holds one side of the drive to the Amigas case?

yup, those are the bits...

although the clip looks a little different, the functionality is the same, those are the bits i need.

so, how much do you want for them?

PM me

cheers!!!!
