Turrican 2 on the amiga is still the best version by far.. One of the reasons i got an A500+ back in 1991. Most of the remakes are ok for a quick go. PC version of t2 is not back either..
Get the sound track or some remixes from www.amigaremix.com , Superb.Amiga Remix (http://www.amigaremix.com)

Your right!
I just had to sign in and say thanks for the link. The screenshots looked awsome and looking forward to trying out the game. I loved this game for the C64 and im only 19 years old! :-D
Thanks again! :-)

Not to bash down on T4 Funeral in a technical manner... but concerning the gameplay I think it is pretty boring. I played through the first two levels and then I quit the game just because I felt I wasn't rewarded when playing it. The levels felt bland and the music felt uninspired. Though, I love the engine and believe that so much could be done with it... but as of now, no thanks, I'll stick to the original.
Looking for other alternatives on Turrican?

PC remake of T2 was a disaster to get started. Juggling with EMS, cdrom or sounddriver wich mutually excluded each other memory-wise. I managed it to get it started. It looks a bit smoother than the A500 version. Big deal.
