Hi Folks,
I am just curious, since I am really tired of buying junk from ebay, are there any decent places that still sell classic Amiga systems anymore?
There must be an alternative to ... SoftHut :-(
Thanks,
Mike

You can visit www.amigakit.com (http://www.amigakit.com) if you are looking for Amiga software, hardware and peripherals. We ship worldwide.
There are still quite a few good Amiga dealers around the world. A good place to look is Amiga.org's dealer directory.

Do you mean, are there any Amiga shops that aren't trying to squeeze every last penny out of the few remaining Amiga users?
The only one I've seen/used that seems reasonably priced is Vesalia.de. Seems as if, in general, the Germans are the only people who have a grip on reality as far as the Amiga is concerned these days.
I also ordered from redrumloa - great service, good prices.

Please post the URL's of these Amiga shops!

... Oh, I am sure that you have had great luck with them, at those outrageous Commodore era prices, they should ship the merchandise to you in solid gold boxes. :-D
Thanks,
Mike

SoftHut has great sales and good service. Most of the stuff in the normal catalog is OOS anyways it's just the catalog isn't up to date.

I got my 733 MB hard drive that I ordered from them. It took
a while, but Softhut got it to me. There was a new location
and/or vacation that slowed them. :-)
Next I have to figure out how to hook it up! :-?

You can't compare Amiga prices to PC prices.
Its the law of supply and demand. There isn't
enough demand for Amiga hardware so the price
is higher. If you really want it, you pay the
price.
Just remember.. some pieces of hardware are much
cheaper now than when new.
It all comes down to 'How bad do you want it'
When I want some piece of hardware I shop around
and usually take the best price I find.
