Hello!

I've been gone for a long time, maybe nobody remembers me so I am introducing myself again

Welcome back!

In short, NOTHING has happened with the Amiga in the last couple of years.  The AmigaOne is currently unavailable and OS4 is still "in beta".

Otherwise, there are still thousands of perfectly usable classic Amigas on the loose, and still a lot of crazy people pushing them harder than any computer in history.

So as you can see, things and people are as positive as always. ;-)

hey! I'm positive on all counts here!

I'm positive that Amiga users are still trekking along.
I'm positive that there are no AmigaOnes available (en masse)
I'm positive that OS4 is still in beta...

What's not positive about that?

Thanks.

Nothing has happened - do you mean they doesn't even work on it?
If they did, something should have happened by now...

Doesn't sound good... But we can't quit hopeing!

I was playing the old game stealth on my very old C-64 last weekend.  I am positive about that.

There are those here who can far better sum up the current Amiga situation than I can.  Work still continues on OS4, but the fate of the AmigaOne (an Eyetech product) is really up in the air, since the company who really made the product is pretty much dead now.

I hope that they can get everything straightened out to start building AmigaOne motherboards again, but I'm just too cynnical at this point to be the right person to ask.

:)

Anyone want to fill him in without trolling or redirecting him to other sites?

If something hasn't changed in all the time he's been away, it's that  :insane:

Please forgive me, what I should first say is, 'Welcome back!'

2nd part : Genesi did the exchange or upgrade for Pegasos1 user to Pegasos2 G4 at half price, MOS 1.4.5 is avaible for PEG1/2, MOS 1.4.2 for classic and MOS 1.5 for Peg are still for betatester...
3nd part : Many project for classic are on theirs ways like the coldfire for Elbox : DRAGON,....
