Title: Most expensive games ever
Post by: Ianoakley on August 15, 2005, 11:16:17 PM
On E Bay there is a huge amount of games which probably go for a few pounds. Someone has struck gold - check out the following link :
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8210214323&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Any reason why this commands such a price ?

That is nothing. I saw "Moonstone: A Hard Days Knight", sell for 132 quid on ebay. Mainly because the floppys came in the famous original 'box'.

What is this? Doomy comes to the UK?

I still don't understand this facet of ebay. I bet if someone listed a copy of Worms DC next week, it would make like 5 quid or something

BTW, I remember R-type (first edition, whatever the {bleep} that means) going for over a 100 pounds on ebay last year...

i paid 15 bucks once for 30 games on original disks with original manuals on ebay. its all up to the buyer. unfortunately people go for high starting bids and reserves and high buy it now stuff sometimes because they dont want to wait. i just paid almost 40 for a keyboard, a3000 manuals and deluxe paint III. some might argue weather i got a good deal or not depending on what the consider each of those to be worth. i think it was pretty good my wife doesnt :-D
