I often post the odd PC question here, as I find that people are friendly and its quite some knowledge base here! But I was wondering, what are the PC tech forums that any of you use?

I like Ars Technica for most things but also visit ZDnet for reviews and using their price comparison engine to find the best deals for hard and software.
I used the Ars Technica system guides to choose most of the parts for a new PC I will be building next week with my 12 year old Son. I respect their unbiased opinions on everything. That is to say, I don't think they are influenced by advertizers.
(joined A.org again 7/26/2004, but lurked for many years before that)

I am a proud member of www.Tek-Tips.com, one of the better Forums for PC related information and troubleshooting...

You might want to have a look at computing.net, however, the quality of replys has declined somewhat in recent times.

I'd recommend forums.amd.com. Even if you have an intel machine they will answer your questions.
I'm also part of their folding team.

For me it's the yeah old Windrivers.Com

I use Extremetech.com but I can't comment on the friendliness of the people I've seen there. Some are better than others.

Since I have a Nforce2 board, I have used the nforcershq.com
forums for some PC related issues. Anandtech.com's forums
might also be worth a look, though I haven't really used it
for tech related stuff.
