Title: Doomy back.. again?
Post by: icbrkr on August 13, 2005, 04:48:39 PM
long URL slashed by evil admin type (http://cgi.ebay.com/8-44256-DRAMs-for-the-Amiga-and-Atari-ST-Computers_W0QQitemZ5230027693QQcategoryZ4598QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

Sure looks like him...

"You will find out that nobody sells these anymore and therefore does not have any left in stock.  So, get these while you still can.  What you see in the picture is what you will get.  I do not use "stock photos".  These high quality DRAMs were made in Japan.  The best memory chips are made in Japan and Germany."

Oddly enough, joined right about the time he was kicked to the curb from Ebay!

Unless Doomy Moved, it can not be he is from Beaverton Oregon. I have the confermed address on my computer.

I think this a re-run of his auction that just ended
a few days ago.
He didn't get any takers the last time.

(I don't this is Doomy)

I would wager that it is him.  I am going to check to see how far Lakewood WA is from Beaverton OR.  My guess is that he could have a postal box there as a business address or is using a friend or family members address for the new eBay account.

Hmm... 147 miles.  No guarantee though that's where the cash needs to be sent to :-)  Guess we'll wait to see how their feedback looks after a week or so.

It's almost definitely him, right down to the 'yellow carpenter's glue' he was using before.

What's a yellow carpenter anyway?

Keep in mind that you don't HAVE to have a validated address with eBay (they never validated mine) so he can continue to create names forever.  Judging by his history here, he certainly doesn't mind setting up duplicate bogus accounts.  I just hope we can do our part to keep anyone from sending this smegger money.

I get amazed how eBay, a big company by now, let's this happen in the first place. Everyone using it should have a credit card in file. Wait one has too, does he get different names on his credit cards too ? No, so how's this so hard to track ?! :-x

Actually Doomy aka SpencerAnne Auctions aka RetroGeek still has an auction up on EBay and it is a good one even comes with his picture.

yet another long URL slashed by the evil admin guy...  Please take the hint (http://cgi.ebay.com/Commodore-128-Computer-Excellent-Condition_W0QQitemZ5230449126QQcategoryZ74945QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

But if you will notice the ad is similar to the PacificsNW Auctions. :pissed:

Have you never seen that image before???

x56h34 did that. You have to laugh though, as Doomy pinched it to use in his auctions! I think I had it as an avatar or in my sig once, but was warned not to use in case my account got deleted as a 'Doomy account', lol

did you see the battery repair in the above C-128 auction?  what idiot de-solders a 68k cpu and instead of putting it back into the socket, solders it directly to the mobo? LOL

What I can't believe is that one obviously psychotic smeghead warrants continual threads on Amiga.org.  Truth to tell, he probably does the same thing to dozens of other communities in the interest of ripping people off through e-bay.

I could only wish that Google Adsense were as forgiving as e-bay...
