(http://ryanthusar.free.fr/gofromiel/feelin/images/screens/20050811.png) bunny ? (http://www.gofromiel.com/feelin/screens.php?show=images/screens/hi/20050811)
It's not hot enough yet, but it's nearly finished. I really like my new graphics classes ;-)

Feelin has been very intresting project from the very beginning, and
this shows much of it capabilities. Looking very nice, not that sure
about your bunny theme :-)

I'm a bit confused. Is Feelin like a next generation MUI? What are the minimum system requirements? Have any applications been created with it?
The screenshots look amazing and I wonder why I've never heard of it before.
-
Hi both of you, and thank you for your interest. Feelin has nothing to do with MUI. It's just a fabulous new framework able to create applications from XML files, with an extremely customizable GUI. I made this horrible screenshot just to show my new graphics classes, and particuliarly my BitMap class which is able to resize pixels on the fly with lovely filters such as bilinear or average...
-
It certainly looks like a fabulous new framework, but what are the minimum system requirements. (..in other words, will it run on my A500?)
From the looks of it, my prediction is "graphics card, 16Mb RAM and 040 is the bare minimum".
-
It should run on your lovely A500, but may be not because the code is compiled for a 68020. Feelin was made under OS3.0, I don't have tested for earlier versions.
-
Excellent. My A500 has 3.0 and an 020, so I'll try it as soon as possible. :-D

technically feelin shows a lot of promise and could become the standard GUI framework...IMHO you could do a better job at marketing it;
1) Make screenshots (or ask somebody else to) that do not look pink, bright green or any other fluorescent colour. You know something that people may actually like.
2) Refrain from using cosmetic adjectives and self-praise a way of promotion. It's certain to put people off. Let them decide if it's fabulous (I think it is!)
Good job on the programming side - keep it up and let us know how it develops.
p.s.
Perhaps if you incorporated a MUI wrapper, people may actually install it in their systems.
-
I'm not good at marketing (I'm too proud ;-)), but thanks for your advices. BTW I like fluorescent colors, but I'll try to make a soft grey one, with Intuition's window borders :-)
-
I quite like Olivier's screenshot with the Be look. It looks quite professional without lacking in strong colours - such as the yellow contrast - that any GUI should have. Anyway, to each his own preference I suppose.

If only its author weren't that coinceited... ;-)
-
...sorry  (BTW, what's the meaning of "conceited" ? My lovely dictionnary don't know that word...)
-
it means you think very highly of yourself. Honestly, I'd leave your site as is. You did a awesome job and yes, Feelin' is awesome!
-
Looks good :-o
adonay:-D

@TheMagicM: Thank you ! What do you think of that intro :
Feelin (http://www.gofromiel.com/feelin) is an unkown and obscure framework, not used by anyone but its author whom uses terrible fluorescent colors to try to desperately convince us that its GUI is customizable.
Sure, Feelin is able to create applications form XML files on the fly, but who cares ? Only Microsoft and Mozilla seams to be interested in these kind of things... pointless.
The framework is maybe powerfull, but again what's the point ? We already have MUI, which is the best thing that ever happens to us. Why change now ? We also have ReActor which is brilliant ! (joking about ReAction... sorry)
To merly conclude : Feelin is useless, don't download it ! It's a waste of bytes.
Wanna try (http://www.gofromiel.com/feelin/download.php) now ?? :-D

I'm not sure it translates directly, but 'prétentieux' has a similar meaning to 'conceited'.

-
"avoir du mal" > "experiencing difficulties" :-)
