Title: Picasso IV Sale
Post by: K7HTH on August 10, 2005, 08:35:27 PM
Considering selling my Picasso IV multimedia board. It is in excellent, intact condition meaning the flicker fixer board is still attached. The separation cables are included though. I also have the original retail packaging aka, "The Box". Mulling this over and wondering if there is any interest here before I post this on ebay.

I'll give you 60 quid for it, in-line with what they go for on this board ;-)

@ Cyberus

 :roflmao:

Actually, one went for $330 US on this board, so maybe you should offer that  :-D

That would be the P&P price at best!

Well, if I make the offer at USD 300 inclusive of shipping (P&P) that would be a deal, no?

Well, I don't really have a use for it at the moment, unfortunately.  Sorry if there was a misunderstanding, I was commenting on this in relation to the "Fair Price List" thread on the front page, as was Cyberus.  :-)

@ KD7HTH

Yeah I'm sure you'll get a few PMs about it, as it is one of the hot Amiga items. This thread staying near the top can only serve to generate interest :-)

No problem, I understand. I think this PIV is a perfect companion to my A4000 for the obvious reasons. It is just that I have decided to not push the processor beyond the A3640 and having a fine Zorro III multimedia card as this in an Amiga with anything less than a 060 is overkill. Hence the sale consideration.

Comtemplating installing this in my A2000 miggy. I know once installed, the Picasso IV will never be the same, but I would have one happy A2000!  :-D

Little interest, huh? Guess I will keep it then. Thanks.

Incurring the risk of getting shot by someone close to me, is there a chance of lowering it below the 300USD mark ?

Someone close to you? Like your girlfriend or something when she realises you spent $300? ;-)

A 'quid' is slang for a British Pound
cf. 'Buck' for a US Dollar

OK, so there is indeed interest. Yes, I would most definitly consider a lower price. How about USD280 inclusive of shipping costs?

BTW, I know what a quid is, I have lived in central Europe for many years. Since the BPS and Euro are so strong against the dollar a European sale should be economical at this point IMO.
