I seem to remember a picture of doomaster sitting at a very similar machine & desk.

Going 1st, going 2nd, GONE!
Always funny to see such things. Maybe I should try to sell some of my hardware at these prices. Be quick, buy before I put it on ebay and I won't charge you ebay fees :-)
-
Sellers like this probably hope for a longshot, in terms of some dumbasss bidder willing to bite and think that it's really that rare.
-
This reminds me of a friend of mine. He sold his Commodore 64 in the late ninetees. 98-99 or so to some guy that knew nothing about computers.
The guy asked questions like;
Q: Can I do word processing on this machine?
A: Yes I suppose so. (No lie here)
Q: Can you play cool games on this?
A: Sure, alot come with the machine. (again no lie)
So the machine was sold for 300 guilders. About 125 euro's today. And that was alot for that machine. It did came with a colour monitor, printer, datasette, diskdrive and fastloader.
But at that price? It was good for a laugh. I was saving C64's from the trash those days.
Anyway the guy didn't even come back to get revenge or something. He bought the thing and we never saw him again.
Sometimes you find the right person with the right ammount of money and above all.....stupidity.

I love the option at the end of the auction to buy the desk with the computer.
They probably want $300 for that
-
I just can't believe that the seller is going to let people rip him off like that by setting his reserve so low! :hammer:
What in the name of "Grapthar's hammer" is this seller thinking?
I think I'll go shop for some Atari Falcon stuff on eBay to calm my nerves... :nervous:

One of his other aucitons..

To serious collector, that Star Wars collection just might be
very well worth it.
As for the C64, I would ALMOST pay that much for a complete
mint condition system with all the original boxes and manuals.
Again, almost, but not quite.

Some people just don't understand the concept of an "Auction". Oh well, their loss.

I had as many Starwars figures as that the millennium falcon, two speeder bikes, x wing (same as in that pic) and quite a few other ships and my mum binned them all 9 years ago *GUTTED* She’s never heard the end of it from me since I found out :argue:
