I don't know. An OS4 specific PPC implementation of Envoy would kick serious ass!

That would be nice :-D

And for a matter of fact the developer of Envoy is/"has been" part of the AmigaOS 4.0 developer-team :-D

So it would be nice with Envoy :-D - I could wait 1 extra month to get OS4-Envoy :-D

Last I remember Olaf Barthel was working on an updated Samba for OS4.  There is even an updated 68K version available on the net that is amazing, and it doesn't use ixemul.library.

:pint:

Yes, but Envoy is nicer than Samba. I'd much rather have an envoy update that supported the SMB protocol as an optional extra.

Samba special version or Envoy is the same if it will be easy to install and use :-)

I use my amiga over my network with samba..... but it is complex  to configure and use.

I hope in OS4 ;-)

Do you have a link for that??  I seem to have lost track of the one that I had, and I'm not even sure it was the right one.
