Title: Web translators wanted... please
Post by: AmiKit on July 25, 2005, 11:54:01 AM
Hello!

If anyone is interested in translating the AmiKit web page to his/her language, please let me know. I'd be happy! :-) I think there's not too much text to translate. Thank you!

What is AmiKit?

If no native French speakers volunteer, I could do the translation to French. It'd be understandable but maybe not as pretty as if a Frenchman did it.

Hum,
You could use bablefish; which is preferable than editing multiple webpages for different languages...

Tranlate (http://babel.altavista.com/)

@blobrana

I am not familiar with babelfish... are the translations really good?

Babelfish is good to let you understand things but it screws up grammar completely most times. It won't look professional at all.

Quite bad in my opinion.. Though it is better than nothing and gives you the ability to understand some of it atleast.

I'd offer Chinese (Mandarin), but it's pointless, since Amiga's can't display the characters. :-o

yes ;) it's finnish, typigally someboy could say he/she is finish ;)

Luck to he /she had offered to translait english to finnish its easier because of finnish grammar, for exsample ther is 1064 ways to say every finnis verbs.

theritically it's possible to say one finnish word over 10 000 different ways, if we think like finnish.

kirja: book
kirjain: character of the alphabet
kirjailija: writer
kirjoittaa: write
kirjasto: library

etc..

One of the mous baetifully word of finnish language is

RATSASTAJATTARITTA which means "whiout women whos ride the horse"
