I won't have much time to spend on the net in the coming week or two as I'd like...
An old friend (old as in known him for ages - he's only 37) is in hospital with heart problems. Hopefully it's nothing serious, but we won't know for a day or two.
This leaves me to mainly try to sort things out around the house and keep an eye on things. I only live round the corner whereas his parents live two bus journeys away.
Just thought I'd let you know incase anyone was looking for me (Andreas - I'll get back to you when things have calmed down).

Best wishes for the health of your friend
-
I hope your friend makes a full and speedy recovery.

So say I.
-
Agreed. Pass on my best wishes.
We'll keep your seat warm here, no fear :-)
-
All the best to your pal, Vincent.
Hopefully see you back soon.

Best wishes to your mate, Vincent. I'm sure that everything will be fine and you'll be back in no time.

After a week of running round like a blue-arsed flea he's finally home.
It was a pretty major warning. If he keeps doing what he's doing (smoking, not having a normal routine, not exercising) he's going to have a big heart attack. Apparently it's hereditary - his dad's had 2 heart attacks and a very slight stroke (yet the only tell-tale sign is the fact that he's using a walking stick).
Things will be back to normal soon, but he's got to avoid stressful situations and take it easy for the next week or two.
So that means I'll probably still be running round like a blue-arsed flea :-D

@ Vincent
Ja, a warning like that can be a lucky thing. I got an objective warning myself by seeing how obese many of the citizens of Colorado are, and correlating that with their diet. I gotta make some changes to my diet and exercise too, because I could definitely be 'sleeker' and more fit.
Hope your buddy comes right.
