Title: Hijacked ebay accounts? Check them out!
Post by: TjLaZer on July 15, 2005, 04:32:34 AM
I have been looking for a PowerBook G4 and  have run across a lot of fishy auctions.  Check these (http://search-desc.ebay.com/preputar-gmail-com_W0QQsofocusZbsQQsbrftogZ1QQsojsZ1QQfromZR10QQsatitleZpreputar@gmail.comQQsacatZ-1QQcatrefZC6QQftsZ2QQsargnZ-1QQsaslcZ2QQsadisZ200QQfposZ98446QQftrtZ1QQftrvZ1QQfsopZ1QQfsooZ1) out, they are from the same alleged hijacker himself!!!  Beware of the hijacked accounts for too good to be true goods!!

I'm sure here does. I looked at the link he posted a couple of hours ago and there were about a couple of dozen auctions for Macs listed all by the same person.

Ah they were all pulled.  Good for ebay!  These crooks are really pissing me off!  I foolishly replied to one guy a few weeks ago and he wanted to sell me one for $1000, Western Union payment only.  Yeah right.

Oh when I did the search the interesting thing was this guy had a couple eBay accounts from the UK to the US he had hijacked and had a gmail email address on!  So different sellers and same hijacker selling high end mac gear!  What is it with Macs and fraud?  I see it all the time on there!!!
