Hi everyone!
Was just wondering if anyone had a spare circuitboard for a Maxtor 4W080H6 hard drive that they would be willing to sell me? A friend of mine recently had an accident with his and managed to damage one of the chips. It is full to capacity and has some important data on it as well that he needs to get off it. Or is there anywhere that sells them?
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated - believe me!
Many thanks in advance for your help!
All the best,
Stenrad.

Not to be negative...but, you may have a problem with switching out the pcb. Often times these boards have an eeprom that contains information specific to the drive (serial numbers, drive information, platter information etc). Not sure on the specifics, but the drive may not work with a different board. Look around on the internet for information on hard drive data recovery...
Best of luck with getting the data back!
