Trying to get a Cybervision to work in an A3000, I came across this note at this link (http://amiga.serveftp.net/A3000_HardwareGuide/boards.html). I tried finding more information on what daughterboard rework he was referring to, but wasn't able to find anything. Has anybody heard of this before?
The note I'm referring to:
Product Name: Cybervision 64/3D / RTG Graphics Board
Manufacturer: Phase 5 Digital Products
Mode: Zorro II/III
Comments: If original 68030 is used, Cybergraphics Driver
works only in Zorro II mode; with a rework on
the daughterboard and the tool "Enforcer" installed.
Picasso96 driver works in both (Zorro II/III) fine!

Which revision of daughter card do you have?
Which revision of buster do you have?
CV64 cards work fine with Rev 7.01 and later of the Daughter Card and most busters.
*HOWEVER*
You must set the JP1 jumper on the CV64 card to the correct setting for your buster chip.

If you have a CV64/3D card then I'd have to do some more research for you.

Hi, working with two different cards and two different A3000's. Both surprisingly have the same problem.
Amiga #1: rev 9 motherboard and rev 7 daughterboard. Cybervision 3D. Buster 9. OS 3.1 and 3.9 tried. No other Zorro cards. No accelerator.
Amiga #2: rev 9 motherboard and rev 7 daughterboard.
Cybervision 64. Buster 11. OS 3.0 and 3.9 tried. No other Zorro cards. A3640 rev 3.1. (same results with or without accelerator).
Both experience lockups trying to get the Cybervisions to work with Picasso or Cybergraphix.
Verified jumper settings for the Cybervision 64. Amiga #2 is mine, and Amiga #1 is another person who is just as confused as I am. I'm not too familiar with the Cybervision 3D either.
Does anybody have a Cybervision (either 64 or 3D) working in a 3000? If so, what revision motherboard? Both cards came from working A4000's ... I'm seriously considering getting a 4000 and being done with this confusion. :)

I have a working CV-64 (not a CV64-3D) in a 3000 desktop. 2MBytes VRAM (no expansion chips)
Motherboard is Rev 9/01
I don't know what Rev the daughterboard is. The system was purchased in the 1990/1991 time frame, so it might still be a Rev 7.
Buster is -11
OS is 3.5

@SyrTran,
Yes, you most likely have a rev7 daughterboard. That's a ray of hope knowing somebody has a CV64 working in a later A3000. Do you have other Zorro cards in there? And is it pretty much stock except for the buster-11? Thanks for the info, by comparing notes we might get some ideas what to look into.

@dnelsonfl
I also have a Hydra II (Amiganet) ethernet card. There's also a DPS TBC-IV (time-base-corrector) and a Cyberstorm '060/50 Mk II, but those aren't zorro cards.
At one time, before the Hydra II, I also had the Toaster and Flyer in there with the CV-64 (and -that- was tight!). Back then I was running OS 3.1.
I don't remember if I got the CS060 or the CV-64 first.
The only other change to the chips was that I upgraded the WD SCSI chip to -08.
Oh, and I added the INT2 mod myself, and replaced the battery, but that was after I had the CV-64.
