Title: FastATA can't find my A1200! Neener Neener!
Post by: Roj on June 30, 2005, 10:55:11 AM
I fairly recently bought and received an Elbox FastATA 4000 IDE interface. Problem is the floppy they provided only includes ATA3.device and ATA3Prefs, which are the A1200 variety drivers. I run them and a requester pops up saying it can't find A1200. Well certainly it can't. It's upstairs! It'd be nice if it found the A4000 that's sitting sort of off to the side though.

I've tried contacting Elbox and signed up for their little mailing list thing but so far just a few crickets are chirping from their general direction. Any ideas?

Usually if you send your registration to support@elbox.com as described in the manual and tell them your disk is unusable then you'll get a replacement by e-mail within 24 hours.

Bye,
Thomas

Yep, that usually should net a response of some type, but it's been several days since I sent the request and I've not heard anything from them.
