Title: Making Amiga case parts

I know it's probably impossible, but...  If you look around on web sights people/small companies are making new cases for XBOXs and Gamecubes. The gamecube cases come with modifications for fitting larger DVDs ect. These cases don't sell for that much money, so I'm thinking the cost of making them can't be too much. The detail and quality they are achieving looks to be really good.

Does anyone know what the process is for making things like this? Wouldn't it be nice to have some NEW Non-Yellowed Amiga case plastic, perhaps even Black?

I know the Amiga hardware is all well over 10 years old and it's most likely not possible or worth while. Still it's fun to think about:-D

 I totally agree!.I want the same thing!  Just like they did with the Commodore 64C   ....... old computer...new case............we need black Amiga 1200 and 600 and 500 cases.

with the USB and Slimline CDROM ports already cut out as well as extra holes

Depends on the quantities involved.

For plastic cases (A1200, etc) a special tool has to be made for the injection moulding process.
The cost of a tool for a complex shape like that would be something like US$20,000.

The case has two halves (not including trapdoor), so add another US$20,000 for a 2nd tool.

Plastic material required for each case is only a few $.

You do the maths and divide number of cases produced with the profit from selling each case and find out how long before you recover your tooling costs.
