Title: linux for blizzardppc

does any one know of a distro available of linux that will run through warpos on decently on a 040/25.

What do you mean through WarpOS? For PowerPC based Amigas there is Linux APUS (http://ftp.unina.it/pub/Amiga/apus/).

Linux sux anyway :P you better install netBSD...

If you wanna use WarpOs to run linuxPPC, then the speed of your 68040 doesn´t matter at all...

Hang on.....WarpOS for running Linux? :-? Erm....Linux is an OS, it takes over your complete machine. It's not an emulation a la Shapeshifter

sorry there was a typo in there and i was a bit misleading, i meant is there a PPC distro of  linux that will run on my miggy hardware

or a decent distro that will run on a 040/25

my setup is


A1200T, 64mb ram, 3.1 roms, powerflyergold, 2gig hdd, 6 speed cd rom, z4 busboard, hypercom 3i, blizzard 603e/175, 040.25, bvision

Hmm, well there's LinuxAPUS as posted above. As for 68k Linux, I've got an ancient Redhat 5.x on CD here for Amiga m68k. I would presume it is still being updated, dunno tho. Tried a bit of googling?

nestbsd, amy oggd, is it worth looking into, has it got a ppc amiga version.

any tidy browsers for it
