notice that people like him just go through life getting their work done with out alot of hoopla.

well, the short story is that whenever comedians tribute one of their own they end the eulogy with "Goodnite, funnyman"

I guess it's a take-off on Hamlets' "goodnite sweet prince" line.

and, by now, I forgot where this was used first, so the entire "history" of this line is obsured by my brain-alzheimer. So to speak.

basically, it's my dopy way of saying i respect the guy. it just seems weird to everyone who doesn't live in my brain.  :roll:
