This is the non Amiga-version of DOTT that I got to work with ScummVM, really awesome. It seems that most of the sound is there, speech and sound fx, but in the intro, the car is silent, and I do not hear the bird tweet, only cough. Is there missing any sound?
Thanks.

Man!!!!
I want to run this on My CD32/SX32 pro! How do I get SCUMMVM to work and what DO I need???? I want Day oF The Tentacle!

I thing you REALLY DONT want a Day of tentacle on our planet :))), or maybe im wrong and you are tentacle! bah
im joking, i love this game too :)

Day of the Tentacle is an awesome game :-D I'd have to say it's probably my favourite LA Adventure game, but I did like the atmosphere in The Dig. SCUMMVM can run on just about any platform known to man, I use it on my iPaq 2210 - it's great playing those games on the train. As far as I know, to run SCUMMVM on Amiga, you need an AGA machine (or an RTG card) and a fast processor, last I heard, it needed an 060, but I may be wrong. It's a shame too, because LucasArts were apparently quite close to having DOTT ready to go for Amiga. :-(
I would have much rathered playing it on an Amiga than having to run it on my 486 with a bootdisk :-P

The car makes a few noises here (exploding exhaust, a few zooming noises) but no general error sounds and scummvm doesnt report aany missing sounds. This was pulled off the cd so im assuming all the sounds are present. The bird doesnt tweet here aither, it does open its mouth a few times looking like it should but im sure it actually ever did.

Fired up my old DOS box and tested it. Bird doesn't chirp, only makes a choking sound as it passes the slug-o-matic. Car makes no engine noises, but backfires and splutters, followed by some tyre screeches and a toot of the horn. So I doubt there is anything wrong with your setup :-)

Awesome, so it works. I bought the game back in '94 and I have not played it in almost ten years. So to fire up ScummVM and then just insert the disc and run the game was quite fascinating to me.
Thanks for the help from everybody...
