Title: Setting the MV1200 Scandoubler/Flickerfixer
Post by: starf81 on June 11, 2005, 02:25:57 PM
Hello again!

I'm testing the MV1200 Scandoubler with Flickefixer module on my 1200. It works quite well, I can see the Amiga screen on my Sony LCD but there are two little problems I can't solve.
I see a lot of vertical lines and sometimes the pointer flickers showing its image two or three times on its vertical. It's quite difficult to explain so I've taken a PICTURE (http://starf81.altervista.org/scandbl.jpg).

I've tried to adjust the potentiometer and to change the jumpers settings but I can't solve.
The issues remain with all resolutions and screen modes also after some hours I use the Amiga.

Any suggestions?

... I was forgetting: what is the best monitor device to use with a scandoubler and a SVGA monitor? I'm looking for a "dev" that can show the highest resolution as possible with 256 colours. At the moment I'm using PAL Interlaced High Res.

Thanks in advance
Alex

Just tested with an A500+.

The vertical lines are still showed but the pointer is normal.

What could be the problem? If I connect the 1200 with a scart cable through the same RGB port, I don't see any flickering pointer.
