Title: Best virus scanner?
Post by: XDelusion on June 11, 2005, 06:47:12 AM
What's the best to use in that rare event that I get an AmiVirus? :)

Is VirusZ still the big thing? It's been a few years.

VirusZ is starting to get old but so far I've seen nothing out there to rival it. It still does what you can expect but since updates are far between the window for new viruses to get in is huge... though the common danger is probably old viruses still lurking around.

Are there still people who make viruses for the amiga?!?!? :-o
I never thought there would be any use for further updates.

I use VirusZ  as My Amiga has been MASSIVLY infected with the HappyNewYear 96  Virus.................it seems to be working, but resizes the files.......is this normal?

and what the heck is RAMLIB and where is is located in OS3.9?  some programs wont run because of this..........as a matter of fact............nothing will work when double clicked

VirusZ is old in the terms it's been around for a long time and the virus library as you say is from 2004 while my virusdef. on my PC is from yesterday. ;)
