I have an A2620 turbo card with the old roms,
(not compatable with KS 2.xx)
Anyone know where I can find the later roms
for cheap :-D . (After all this card isn't worth much)
The card works fine, I just don't want to be stuck in
KS 1.3.

:-D.. bump ..

You may have to burn your own eproms or have a friend do it for you. They are the same for the 2620 and 2630.

Hi melott
You should have mail

are the hex files available somewhere to burn them? Or is it "find someone and borrow theirs" to do it? I'm in the same position here.. Could get access to a prom burner if I pull some strings.. Also are those ROM's IR erasable or would I still have to find blank ROM's?

@ Rooster
No E-Mail-address, no files.

I DO have a set of these roms in a 2630 card.
I thought maybe, if I had a burner I could plug
them in and dup them..(showing how little I know here :-D)

Hey.. I ripped this from a different (but similar) post (different hardware piece)
"Re: DKB: 1240
You can upgrade the firmware yourself that would make the card work with KS3.1 if any ram is installed on the card.
You can flash it just like you can flash any Phase 5 accelerator card. There is an on-board flashrom on DKB Cobra and DKB 1240 accelerators.
The DKP Ferret SCSI utility disk has got the flash file on it. Simply UnDMS this image onto a floppy and it will become a bootable disk. Boot your A1200 with it and make sure your DKB1240 or Cobra has got no ram installed on it if you have 3.1 roms installed. If you still have 3.0 roms, it doesn't matter if there is ram on the accelerator or not. Follow the instructions and viola! Your DKB accelerator is 3.1 compatible."
Any chance that applies to the A2620 as well? Is there a flash utility or do I have to rip the ROM's out, and do the programmer/reflash (assuming they can be rewritten, and not have to find new unburnt roms) thing?

Nope, those boards don't have flash ROMs so you need the chips or a ROM programmer

Hello,
Sorry for opening this thread, but anyone here still has these eprom files for the a2630 ??

There is a good chance of finding the ROM files within WinUAEs expansion-rom archive, but i don't know if they are ready to burn... ???
