My Work2 Partition has a checksum error.I have fixed these before but cant remember what to select on DiskSalv............Maybe Validate?
Also...where the heck is Ramlib located? AMPlifier wont work on m OS3.9 now...........saying RAMlib failed.
is it possible to play MODS and 8svx samples with AMPlifier?
And anyone know how to get AmigaAMP to work with the MASPlayer?

Validate is a good choice to start; you may need to do it a couple of times if you get "out of range" error on the first attempt.
Try ramlibpatch (stackattack?) or MCPramlibpatch.

Download the MHI drivers on aminet, then tell AmigaAmp to use the MHI driver for the MASPlayer (think it's under the hardware options, but it's been so long I can't remember!)
Or you could use Amplifier with Chris Hodges' masmpg.device (http://www.platon42.de/index2.html)

Hee I go again.........a ramlib problem.........I fixed it before but dont remember how?
Also I have a checksum error on my Work 2 partition again........I forgot how I fixed that also.......Disksalv validate feature is ghosted for this partition.......whats goin on???

If you get new checksum errors frequently it might very well be a sign for a deteriorating hard drive - make sure you backup valuable data to another device.

I prefer to use a full REPAIR rather than a simple VALIDATE. When you REPAIR in DiskSalv it goes 'the whole hog' and you still get a validation at the end. Maybe it thinks you need a full repair since you have ghosted buttons.
Are you using a disk below 4.2GB? Unusual for an IDE disk to suddenly get Checksum errors, I get them a lot on SCSI but that's because I have cable/connection trouble. IDE is fairly straightforward with a small ribbon and no connectors inbetween.
It might be worth pulling off the IDE connector and putting it back on again though, it can't do any harm and may well make a better contact if the summer heat has tarnished contacts. This was a big problem with the Dreamcast (it could be fixed by using WD40 spray on the PSU connector).
Also download Virus Executor v2.34 to make sure you are virus free (viruses can cause random errors) and maybe check Max Transfer/Mask values.
