Title: no RF modulator?

Will A1200 work if RF modulator is removed from motherboard?

i think yes, it only converts video signal into tv signal

You can use an external A520 modulator with an A1200 so logically it must mean that you can remove the internal one.

i have to check the schematics.

It depends by how the internal RF unit, is routed on the PCB.

 if you desolder(oh my poor english .)) four output wires {bleep} happens to A1200 :) it will absolutelly works, trust me

I will try someday exchange modulator from cd32 an put into A1200 (S-videooo). it must works too
