Title: DSS8+ software
Post by: Jiffy on June 06, 2005, 10:44:19 AM
I got hold of a nice GVP DSS8+ soundsampler. Unfortunately, it didn't come with any software and/or manual...

Is there anyone willing to point me to the needed software? Manual would be nice, but is much less relevant.

Hi Jiffy

There is 2 software versions for the DSS8+

the Original software (2.0 I think)   and the 3.0 software that allows you to play PC  wav files as well as save them.

In my opinion, the original software is better and easier to use.  Get both if you can,

I have both and may be able to email them to you as I have WinUAE on this PC and my entire Harddrive contents on it.

The DSS8+ is one of the coolest Devices for the Amiga.............You can sample entire songs if you have at least 8 megs of RAM.

And get Hippoplayer to play them back.............sample them at a minimum 0f 19886khz  (the standard setup on DSS8+)

To both duesi & leirbag28...
An adf by e-mail would be really great! I believe my e-mailadress is in my profile, but just to be on the safe side:

Both version 2 and 3 would be highly appreciated!

Tnx in advance...
