I've got an A600 that I want to slap on my network for basic file transfers (via FTP). I've been trying to get it to recognize my NIC with cnet.device, but it claims that it's not there or is in use. I do know the card works as I use it on my A1200. Cardinfo shows it being present so I believe the PCMCIA slot works. I'm attempting to use Miami 3.x to init the card.
The A600 is bog standard... 2MB, WB 2.1, 68000. Ideas? I went with the Miami stack after reading another thread where it was recommended on a 2MB 600.

Ah nothing? Hmmph. All I'm looking for is some pointers on where to start troubleshooting :)

I use a NIC with my A600 all the time. I use a different type of card (3COM 3C589) which doesnt use the c.net driver.
I too use Miami, but I chose the GUI which requires the least RAM (gadget tools).
Works fine.
What model NIC card do you have?
Are you connecting to a PC that you've connected to before using Miami and an A1200?

How much ram have you got left when Workbench is loaded, and what GUI module did you choose to install with Miami (I'm assuming you are not using the Deluxe version)?
The best would be classact I think, as it doesn't need anything else installed like the MUI version does.

Class Act / Reaction & MUI both leave too little RAM. You need what I said before the GTLayout/GadTools GUI.
