Hi, I was wondering if with all these USB stacks Poseidon, Spider (are there any others?) available for Amiga we can connect in internet with a USB adsl modem.
I had my Amiga4000 as a gateway when I had an ethernet adsl modem.

I think that's not going to work. Better get an ethernet ADSL modem.
-edit- Uh....you already have (had?) an ethernet ADSL modem? Why want USB then =).

Why would anyone want to go from an ethernet ASDL modem to a USB based one?

USB Modems! (/me makes sign of the cross with fingers).
Honestly, you should really, really, really avoid USB modems at all costs. Stick to ethernet. It's the more suitable standard and makes it possible to buy a router later.
Running a modem on USB is just...crazy!

you may all frown at USB, but im using an ADSL Combined USB/HUB/Router/4-port Ethernet Modem.
I can have a laptop using USB connection, and yes it gets internet and dhcp allocation.
I can use the PC or Amiga at the same time to either browse the net or do file transfers between the 3 machines.
USB i agree is not ideal, but for laptops or small devices with a usb port it is ideal.

Yes, it is very nice to see all these USB vs Ethernet but the question was if I can use the former on an Amiga? :-o
(spare me with the USB is bad and stuff... just like that linux bigots that have that opinion just because it doesn`t work good on their OS , elsewise it would be okay )
AMIGA KAI TA MYA/\A STO MIXER!!! :-D
