Title: DCE scan doubler/flicker fixer problems

Hi
My brother gave me his SD/FF today but he has never tested it during the time he has owned it.Well its the model with the chip that goes over Lisa but when i switch my amiga on it doesnt boot.So im wondering which way this chip actually goes over Lisa since i have no instructions for it.
So any help would be great since ive never used one of these before and being able to have my native screen modes back would be a bonus.
