What software is available, isn't there a couple of free ones?
Also, what speed of computer do I need have, and how much RAM?

Try Burn It! from Titan Computers:
http://www.burnit.info/
Also try MakeCD from Aminet:

MakeCD is safe bet.. http://makecd.core.de
Other options would be BurnIT, MasterISO, FryingPan etc.
Speed of computer depends what you want to do. For burning from pre-made iso-image it's enough to have 030 with ide devices, I think. You can of course make the image yourself before burning. But if you want to burn directly from filesystem (image is made on the fly), then you'll need either scsi devices or more cpu-power. With 68k Amiga and IDE you can't expect very high speeds for burning. SCSI makes life much easier on such systems. With low-end computer, use also TAO instead of DAO. It consumes less cpu power. RAM isn't big issue (at least with SCSI)... more than couple of megs for writing buffer. Usually if it's going to have buffer underrun, then it doesn't matter much if there's bit less or more RAM :)
MakeCD works quite fine without registering too. It just limits the amount of audio tracks and you can't change the name of the data cd. And maybe beta versions won't work, so you might not get the joliet support etc.

I´m burning CDs on A1200 with 030/40 (8 ram), 8x speed from pre-built iso image is fine.
