As Karlos doesn't drink, I'm sure he won't mind drinking that one, and then buying myself one on his behalf either!
Eh Karlos? ;-) :pint:

woohoo!
My post count is seriously lacking

@x56h34

Well, you still have lots of cool rank names to ascend through. "Defender of the Faith" was rather nice :-)
-
@Karlos
Ahh...tis so good to see my nova-sapien brethren so high up in the list, cheers to you :pint:
Alas I fear that you too are a prime candidate for an extreme case of RSI :-P

Cheers. Cigars and fusioncrackers all round ;-) As well as a few 'colour coordinating' interior designer types to burn at the stake during the bbq...

Rampant Stupidity Intolerance? Yep, I'm afraid work occasionally aggrivates this condition :-D
Still, at least it isn't Repetitive Sock Impregnation...

Nah, not really. KennyR is still 1000+ posts ahead and he's been banned for some time now. Redrumloa would still be far ahead too, were he here still.

If they're wearing turtle neck jumpers and rimless specs they will need tenderising with a 2x4 (complete with rusty 6" nails) first. :evilgrin:

Yikes! :-o
*bows down*

Is there any kind of self-obsessed "always on tv telling you how sh*t your taste is" interior designer type that *doesn't* need working over with said nail-encrusted length two-by-four before being burned at the stake?
If you ask me, it's too good for 'em :evilgrin:

So what do you have in mind then, omit no detail :evilgrin:

Well, the first thing that popped into my vacant mind..
.. Gag them with Bloodlines sock, and force them to listen to that Crazy Frog song on auto repeat whilst holding their eyes open with matchsticks and being forced to watch Big Brother (or whatever UnReality show is on at the time) for 24 hours.
Reformat their PC and install Windows 3.0. Although they've probably got a Powerbook, so gimme that and buy them an Oric Atmos.
Then once the pretentious little {Ashcroft}'s spirits have been broken, send them down the DSS/Job Centre/Whatever Labour are calling it this year, to get a proper job.

Doobrey wrote:

More or less what I was thinking. Certainly I was thinking of something sock and real job related anyway!
-
@Karlos
7035posts/32months= 220 posts per month average :-o
-
:lol:
If you put it like that it looks kinda a lot, eh?
-edit-
To be fair, probably a few hundred were in the various groaner's corner threads.
-/edit-
I'm sure that there are plenty of more prolific posters when viewed in posts/unit time. I seem to remember Speel managed about 220 a day when he first arrived :-)

My rate for comparison
236posts/11 months =22 post per month
I'll be at 7035 posts in merely
7035posts/22 ==320 months (26.6 years}! :-o :-o :-o
-
Cripes. I was away for about a month too :lol:
-edit-
I was unemployed for a chunk of time after the first six months or so of joining. Amazing the amount of posts you can make between looking at jobs online...

Couldn't we just subject them to a life of grayscale by stapling grey cellophane over their eyes?
-

I fear that may not quite work as expected. Disconnect all their cone cells in their retinas. That ought to do it...
-
I was using a laser level at work the other day, had to wear some red glasses to see the laser, and they turned the whole world greyscale.
It was blooming freaky, like being in an old b&w film :insane:
-
@Doobrey
:lol:
You don't see red as a colour either then?
-
OK smartie pants, yes you would see red as a colour.
But I was working outside, with a nice blue sky, and green countryside as far as the eye could see, with nothing red.
Still couldn't see the tiny red dot from the laser though, had to walk along holding a sheet of paper in front to follow the beam :-x
-
Doobrey wrote:

No, seriously, I don't really perceive red. I thought you might be the same ;-)
-

It may have some impact, only one way to find out, bring me a test subject and I shall perform said procedure immediately :evilgrin:

"Your eyes can deceive you, do not trust them..." Listen to these wise words young Jedi :lol:

Oops, sorry Karlos , misunderstood your post ..thought it was a bit of sarcasm :roll:
Look on the bright side, you don't suffer the effects of interior designers as much.
@adz, I'm sure we could find a suitable test subject on a mac forum :-)
-
Doobrey wrote:

/me grabs a giant potato sack, a baseball bat and heads over to my nearest mac forum...
...hang on, I'm a member of a mac forum, and I'm also a mac user, then again so is Karlos, so macs cannot be the common link as both Karlos and I use macs and cannot correctly perceive red, hmmm, too confusing for this time of the morning.
-
@Adz
I use macs at work because I have to. Not because I want to ;-)
Anyway I think Doobrey is hinting at the "apple are god" mac fanatics as opposed to ordinary people :evilgrin:
-
Hmm im forced to use macs at college and also cant perceive red properly. I see a pattern emerging......
I think nature is trying to create a race of super beings who create designs using only blue, black and white.

Yup, close enough..
I was gonna put something about the type of people who would buy polished dog poo with an Apple logo on it (probably called the iTurd or something), but then remembered you could easily swap the words 'Apple' and 'Amiga'..
Then I decided against it, figuring it'd be a bit hypocritical seeing as I've been using a shiney new iBook for the last 6 weeks :lol:

Now that one got me rolling :lol: :roflmao: :lol:

Let's face it, that's how they'd avertise it in print.
TV might be another matter..
They'd show you some poor PC owning sod dying of constipation in cubicle A, with its empty paper holder, dingy, flickering light, crap smeared walls and intel inside logo on the back.
Meanwhile, the uber cool mac owner would be happily crapping away in a brilliant white cubicle next door whilst bopping along to his iPod...

I though Karlos was speaking to himself until I saw adz' name on the second glance :lol:
Who's copying who with the avatar?
And what does it mean?

@Vincent
It means an end to interior designers and home improvement programmes on TV featuring their sorry worthless ideas of taste ;-)
-
:lol:
Next step the end to Reality TV?
-
@Vincent
Along with the "earthy gentle tones with striking accent colour" obsessed freaks, the producers of said reality tv shows will also be amongst the first against the wall when the revolution comes....
Muhahahaa
-
.. don't forget to include anyone who's been on(or applied for) Big Brother,X Factor, Fame Academy, Poop Idol etc etc.
Could I have the first shot at Laurence Llewellyn Bowen? I'll trade him for Laurie Turner and Handy Andy. :destroy:
It'd be good to release all the angst that's built up after working as a set builder/model maker in advertising. I had a pretty good record too, 10 yrs and I never harmed a single stylist (just don't ask about incident that involved an art director and a blow torch :-P)
-
We're going to need a bigger wall. There's always the Great Wall of China, but it would be a shame to damage it :-(

Line it with Kevlar first :-D
-
Kevlar ? That's a bit too hi-tech for this job.
Just get Handy Andy and Tommy Walsh to build a softwood frame to take 50mm MDF, then the others can join in and decorate it in the usual purple and gold murals, and maybe a throw rug on the ground to soak up the blood.
They'll be so busy showing off their artistic talent, they won't hear the sound of the nail guns being reloaded.. :evilgrin:
-
Muhahahahahaaaaa!
So, Doobrey, are you 'colour blind' too? ;-)
-
Seven days ago you started this thread...
And you've posted 132 times since :-o
And that's without groaners :-P
Workload finally easing off then?
--edit--
That's 18.8 posts a day!
-
Nah, I'm just learning to ignore it better :lol:
-edit-
I'm just enjoying a brief lull TBH, come next week it will be buisness as usual :-(
-
Ah, yet another calm before the storm?
Make sure you get some good rest before the new week :-)

oh, come on, Laurence is fun and very witty (especially compared to the jackass's on american TV). My favorite is Oliver (so cute and his rooms are always whimsical.) and Graham makes rooms with incredible class. I'm honestly shocked at how well his projects turn out.
BTW, i have NEVER watched any so-called reality tv shows, so don't bother naming anyone because i won't know what in the heck you are refering to. :-P
-

Ye gads! Naaaaay!

Hey Karlos, you grab the sodium thiopental and I'll get the electrodes and rubber hose, I think we could still save her.
Viva la revolution.
