Hi,
sniff,
my AmigaOne does not want to boot anymore.
It just worked yesterday, trying to compile a musepack library, but after moving it to another room one hour ago,
the mainboard power up, but can't get into uboot anymore.
Is there anyone in Belgium able to help me finding what's wrong ? Or to repair it ?
I'm blue..

Hm.. Effy (http://www.amiga.org/userinfo.php?uid=2875) is from Belgium, so who knows.. You could try to PM him, I think he's usually helpfull, tho I don't recall if he has an A1.
Have you tried removing the battery ? That seems to be a common solution to these kinds of A1 problems..
/edit
If you prefer to post in dutch, try amiga.nl (http://www.amiga.nl).

Effy should be able to cram a 128MB 72-pin simm module into one of AmigaOne memory banks, and then see that it doesn't work. :-)

I don't think Effy got an Amiga One,
but it makes me remember Simon and Dirk may have one..
I will try to remove the battery, but first got to rebuild the computer..
Thanks for your advice.

yep replace the battery.
As Seer has pointed, its a common problem (a defective batch of batteries).
Above all, if it happened after you removed the power plug to move it in another place.
I don't remember if its the UBoot the has lost the settings.
-
Thanks to both of you, it was indeed the battery.
Just removed it and pluged in back, now it works.

Good. Remember to search on www.amigaworld.net it has an incredible database of commons problem.
Have you access to AmigaOne owners forum?
Anyway the battery problem is common, but maybe not this case. By removing it, uboot variables were resetted to default. Maybe the problem was uboot.
