Hi,
I'm in the need of a drivebay cover to hide the empty cap where I used to have a CD drive in my Amiga 4000 Desktop. Anyone got one?
A complete front cover replacement could also have interest, but must be in good and clean condition.
PM me with what you got.

If you are desparate to cover the 5.25 bay hole with something other than a CD drive, then an alternative solution would be to install a fan cooling 5.25 enclosure that matches the colour of the A4000 casing.
It is going to be tough finding just the original cover. :-(

I was hoping that someone has installed a CD drive in their A4000 desktop, and have kept the cover...
I'm not going to install a CD drive in it, since both harddrives and CD drives are going to be placed in a SCSI drive tower.

I would imagine that people who have installed a CD drive in the 5.25 bay would also like to keep the drive cover, as it is a custom C= part.
If I were to install an internal Cd drive in my A4000, I'd surely keep the cover and not sell it, but that's me. :-)

Well, it doesn't hurt to ask.
-
No it doesn't. :-)
This one is for you.

Did you get one yet? I just happen to have a spare A4000 blanking plate floating around. I'm in no hurry to remove my CD-Rom, so I can't see myself needing it in the near future, so if you're still looking, drop me a line. :-)

@x56h34
Thanks for that one :-)
@Spudley
No, unfortuanately I haven't been able to get one yet, so maybe we can work something out.

i have an idea.. if u dont wnat a cd drive in there. just get an old cdrom drive and take the front off it.. that way you have a hole filled and no cdrom drive at the same time!.
i can make one for u if u want :)

You could get one of those old school HD 5.25" drive bay covers! Or just get any PC white cover and throw it in, should match pretty well.
