For the record,
This site is not currently owned by, hosted by, or influenced by any given company. It is solely owned by Wayne Hunt (and formerly the North Alabama Society of Amiga Users) and operated with the assistance of volunteer members of the community.

Don't worry Wayne. Some of us know what's going down, and why you felt it necessary to make such a statement.
As usually happens, the conspiracy will be exposed along with the conspirators, may their business ventures fail and their dreams crumble into dust.
Those that use gutter tactics to combat competitors they regard as gutter dwellers become sewer rats themselves. They've covered themselves in excrement and boy do they stink a long way!

Any chance of seeing amiga.org merchandise again?
Dammy

@ bhoggett
Now if I had to guess, I'd say you're a regular on comp.sys.amiga.advocacy...
-
@dammy
Yes

:-)
No, though I used to get my dose of entertainment there at one stage.
I admit I'm being deliberately obtuse, but that's only because i want to protect my sources for the time being. Aside from that, I stand by every word I wrote.

For the record:
My name is Wayne Hunt, and *I* own Amiga.org
<---oops, sorry I thought this was an episode of Liar's club.
-
Wayne y0u 0wnz0r..
bring back Amiga.org merchandise... I'm sure with the people here we could design some pretty kick*ss stuff and unlike 'some' companys... cafepress.com actually gives you t-shirts/etc for your money.
-
For once I agree with mips; amiga.org merchandise would be w00t!
I need an alternative to the boring TNT coffee mug that I have here at work. :-)
-
/me wonders if the karma kitty owns Wayne. :-)

:-D

@ MarkTime
"I'm Brian and so's my wife!"

Merchandise is currently being worked on. The trouble with Cafepress is that they are expensive as hell with shipping, especially to Europe. After all, who wants to spend $25 shipping on a $8 coffee mug?
Wayne
-
Hey Wayne,
ever thought of partnering with someone in europe in order to have them make the stuff and ship it from over there, rather than ship from the US to europe?
-
@downix,
I think Kees is working on this aspect with a local vendor.
-
@ bhoggett
Strong words. :-o
Care to give a hint to us who hasn't got a clue of what you are talking about?
-
@ whabang
Is that "Iprenmannens" mouth on Mr Bush? :-?

Someone starting #### again?
/edit/ woa cool, a swear filter, never noticed that before! /edit/
-
The best episode was when Mr Burns blocks out the sun in Springfield and everyone wants him dead.
-
@T_Bone
Someone starting #### again?
Sadly, yes. :-(
You must have notced it's quieter around here? See the "Mission Statement II" thread for more details.
(Not that being quieter is bad for the readers, apecially now that the flame-monger has been ejected, but fewer readers means less advertising revenue, so it hurts the site. Not to mention that false allegations tend to damage people's reputation whether they are true or not.)
-
Oh, you mean the mass-exodus? To tell you the truth I never noticed. Wow, lot of mind games with the red team.
