A while ago someone posted a link to some kind of ATX-case, and now I cant find the post. The case was strange, it was formed like a "T" (viewing it from above), with drivebays in the front (bottom of the T) and the mb fitted standing in the head of the "T". I cant remeber the name of the case, anyone who knows it?
Trying some ascĂi-art to enhance the pic: (from above)
_______________
| ======mb==== |
___ ............. _____
.......|............|
.......| drive |
.......| bays |
.......-----------
........( cd )
..........^^^
The dots are spaces. the (cd) is the cde-tray going in. Anyone that understands?
:-?

Since my skill in ascii-art isn't the best, I thought I'd draw a pic of it: (which by the way didn't come out better)

The case is called the i-tee

Mm.
And you wish you had one ?
I myseff tried to figure out a WORSE way to fit a computer in a tower, and this one comes close.
Unless the place where you want to put it is very weirdly shaped, this is likely to drain space OUT than the opposite.
I *do* remember seeing this in an Amiga magazine.

Hmm...
Yes, it's quite large, now that I see it and measure some on my current boring case. I'm looking for a small nice desktop case for my AOne, or something nice. Something lika the Mac G3 beige desktop. Or like the a4000.
But, maybe I should have the actual mb here before I buy something ;-)

Having seen the explosion drawing (http://www.lope.com.tw/i-tee-explosion.htm), I wonder why anyone would want that tower. Power supply directly beneath the drives? Wouldn't that create something of a heat problem, since heat does rise?

If they all explode like that, it's a wonder the company has sold more than a single unit!

I just saw that tower reviewed. It looks like an interesting idea, apparently it is nice to work with, and you have better access to the PCI/AGP card inputs and outputs. Anyway, jaokim, I guess you can read Norwegian, so why not check out the review here (http://www.overklokking.no/annet/itee/index.html)? :-)

If you cruise on over to ann.lu, you should find that case:

being advertised at the TOP.
(PS- Without a 'girl' that is!!)
