I need your expertise on something Its an A3000 that looses its Vhold After its been on for a while Sometimes after a minute or two or its stable for an hour or so then fails.

Is this problem with via the 23pin port or the 15pin vga port?  It could be the thin video chip on the m/b just before the 23pin port.  You could also try reseating SuperDenise 8373.  Also check the p/s connector on the m/b to make sure it's seated properly.

Hi friend

I found out this is only with the 15 pin VGA connector using the 23 pin and a 1084 all is stable

have you looked for corrosion near the amber chip on the motherboard, it should be right next to the battery. Just to check you have checked the battery for leakeage?

Hi

No corrosion near the Amber chip and the battery is new no corrosion on the Motherboard around it. its been switched to a socket type. Motherboard looks clean no problems

I'm stumped
