Title: Commodore 2002 Monitor
Post by: giZmo350 on May 02, 2005, 03:35:34 PM
Hello, can I use my Commodore 2002 monitor with my Amiga A500 computer, in a mode other than composite? Right now I am just using that video converter thingy and the composite output to the 2002 (doesn't look very good). I was reading that the 1084S and the 2002 were essentially the same monitor. Would I need a special cable (maybe I could build it)? Would any of you fine Amiga people have a scematic on how to build one if I need to do that? Thanks so much for your feedback. gizmo350

Would this work?

Does your 2002 monitor have a 9-pin SUB-D connector on it?  If so, I'd bet money that cable would work.  If not, what connectors does your monitor have?

This monitor will work with the Amiga! It actually was released when the great Amiga 2000 series computers were, hence the name 2002!

You will need a 9-pin to 25-pin RGB cable just like the ones from the Amiga 1080 monitor.

Hello,

I think Redmond Cable is still around. I bought an RGB Cable for my A1080 from them in 2002.

Cheers
