Hi all, I recently order a set of COMMODORE AMIGA 500 STARTER and DISCOVERY PACKS SOFTWARE on Ebay. Both shrinkwraped in original plastic and both came together. The seller stated that one of the packages had the Workbench software. Well, when I got the 2 items, they were pretty much the same thing. A wordprocessor and some games in each package. So now I have two sets of the word processor but, different games between the two. So, my question is, did either of the two packages actually have the workbench software on them? I need to leave feedback and want to tell the seller what the deal is before I do that (don't want to publicly flame him in feedback - just let him know either way). I'll still keep the packages 'cause the games are cool. BTW, I have looked averywhere trying to buy workbech 1.2. Where on earth can I get it? Thanks. Sorry so long. gizmo350

Every A500 came with either WB1.2 or 1.3 (not counting the A500+ which came with WB2.0), so there was little to none sense for a SW-producer to add it into a compilation (specially since it would have costed).
You might find a basic boot-system on some games/apps, but thats all.
Getting new 1.x WB-Disks is pretty much impossible, so your only legal way is either flea-bay or Amiga-Forever, which would put you to the task to create an Amiga-WB-disk without an Amiga-WB-disk, something lots of users lost their last hair over :-o

It's possible though. :-D
