Title: Faery Tale Adventure
Post by: Darklight on April 27, 2005, 12:51:08 AM
Anyone remember this RPG by Microillusions?  I dug it out last night and had forgotten just how good it was.  The scope of it is just huge, considering it's only on one disk  :-o I always loved the music from it, so I ended up hooking the 2000 up to my Audigy and making mp3's of the soundtrack  :-D
Has anyone here finished it?  Eventually I'm going to, when I get the time

Amazing when you realise just how big the game area is, yet it runs within 512k memory! A great game to play on the original A1000 many years ago

Flying the golden swan around is alot of fun :-)

This was a great game. It's been many moons since
I played it. What I remember the most is that you
shouldn't  kill the guy who sells you food. If you
do, you will eventually starve.

Hell yes I remember Faery Tale Adventure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was the first game I ever bought for my beloved A500!

It was 1987... it was huge... it was awesome...  The main character was a bit dodgy looking but the rest of the game was soooooo beyooootiful!  I loved exploring the mountains!!!!

For ages I dreamed of coding a similar fantasy game!  But I had nobody to rip/make the gfx for me.  :-D   So eventually my fantasy game concept turned into Total Chaos.
