Why do u want 2 use a hardfile?

Isn't it faster and easier 2 just keep the files on ur HD?

Just for convenience. I have a number of Hard Files.  Besides.  I am new to the Linux scene having recently dumped Windoze so I need a familiar environment to operate in.

I use GCC as a development environment as I am learning C++ at the mo and until I can get DevC++ on Linux I am going to stick with the Amiga approach.
