So I picked up one of these PS2 game screens by Intec for $60.. has S-video, Video, and audio inputs so I figured why not try. Its not really for the A500, but to hook up to a mini-itx system in my truck. Before I went out and spent about 100-120 on a 7" LCD I wanted to test this.. not bad display!!

Looks nice yes.
Great handy gaming device now.

sweet.. now, if only one could make the A500 much smaller :-)

What's the true resolution of this screen? How does it handle interlace?
I'd love to see a hardware mode to accept RGB instead of composite or S-video.

What's the physical size of the actual screen hardware (i.e. the whole unit)? It appears to be slightly smaller than an A600 would be, but I can't tell...
How does it draw power? Does it have a laptop-style AC-DC adapter?
/me thinks about a very portable Amiga :-D

Chunder, I looked at Your webpage http://www.pimpmyamiga.org.uk/ and noticed a network card that was connected to Your A600, wasn't that a 3Com Megahertz card?

What kind of driver are You using for this card?
Do You or anyone else know if this card would function properly in an A1200 with some kind of drivers?

I'll measure it later tonight.. as for power..it uses a DC 12V power supply.
